Yes. But just softening in the beginning will help. You are right. I’m a business owner AND I might have a secure guard in the beginning. I’ll switch it up.

any practical steps we can take to bring there best out in people and have ourselves be vulnerable but also have them respond with vulnerability back to then lead to a real connection?
Eg instead of leading with what we do/ ask them what we do, which will then turn into a mutual game of intimidation in my experience, what would you suggest we should do more of in conversations?
